5-10% will produce a noticeable smoke character in lighter styles such as Oktoberfests & Scottish Ales.
10-20% will produce a fairly pronounced smoke character in lighter styles such as Oktoberfests & Scottish Ales.
30-60% will produce a noticeable (30%) to pronounced (60%) smoke flavor in darker styles like Porters and Stouts.
