Used to reduce excessive foaming during fermentation. This 5 gram packet is good for a 5 gallons of beer (for smaller batches 1 gram is good for 1 gallon). Helps to prevent foam from pushing though the air lock. Will not affect flavor, appearance, or head of your beverage.
