Because the Fermonster is made from virgin grade PET (same material as 2l soda bottles) it will never break. This is major safety feature when compared with heavy glass carboys that are very slippery when wet. Over the years we found that many brewers thought they had a big enough kettle. Our reusable mesh bags allow for the easy removal of spent grain and hops at the end of the boil. The included stainless spoon is really nice upgrade over plastic when you are stirring boiling liquids.
